Poetry in the Park … with PUPS!

**Welcome to Poetry in the** **Park …** **with** **PUPS! 🐶** **These are mini-retreat style workshops** **open to anyone interested in** **Poetry & Writing. 📖✍️** **All experience levels** **are invited to join for a peaceful afternoon of creativity!** **A safe space to listen to and create** **poetry. Fur babies and well behaved pups welcomed. Every writer needs their muse, write?!** **All ages welcomed. Healing focused, meet-ups in person at the beautiful University Glen Park in Camarillo, Ca.** **Beginning on April 19th, 2026** **This group meets every other Sunday at 2:00 p.m** **There is a large and small dog park on location, members are welcome to come early and get their pup’s jitter runs out before we begin reading and writing.** **Workshops begin with readings of Poems by published authors to inspire the second hour’s creative writing. Everyone is encouraged to read in a round robin style format. Participants may read either a provided poem, or may bring a poem of their choosing.** **We then move into 20 minutes of creative writing, in which everyone produces their own poem or** **piece** **of writing. Prompts are provided, or one may just Write what is on their hearts. 🩷** **After writing, we will go around the circle again and anyone who would like to, is invited to share their Poem or Work.** **Feel free to bring a blanket or yoga mat, writing materials, water bottle, pup stroller etc. and reach out with any questions.** **Everyone, pup or no pup in tow, is invited to come enjoy a peaceful afternoon. This meet up is produced with the intent to cultivate a gentle sensory experience.** **Will see ya there! 👋**
