Information from event sources

We aggregate public event listings from sources like Meetup, SeatGeek, Ventura County Library, 805 Calendar, and local venue calendars. This is publicly posted information about the events themselves, not personal information about users.

• To operate the site and display events
• To respond to contact requests and event submissions
• To send newsletter emails if you've opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• To prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions
• To improve our search, recommendations, and content

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with service providers that help us operate:

• HighLevel (LeadConnector) — our CRM for managing newsletter subscribers, event submitters, and contact form messages
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics
• Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
• Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site may not work as expected.

• Account — update or delete your account anytime from your dashboard.
• Newsletter — unsubscribe via the link in any newsletter email.

We keep personal information only as long as needed to operate the site and fulfill the purposes described here. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) and access controls, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
